Action Plan
Public Transit
While South Jordan has made great strides in the way of public transit, our lack of comprehensive bus routes leave fundamental gaps in many people's daily commutes. My goal, if elected, is to work toward two bus routes from Redwood Road to Mountain View Corridor via 10600 south and 114000 south. I know this will help not only thin congestion on our roads, but also provide a more accessible South Jordan for all.
Infrastructure
South Jordan is growing by the day! With so many new projects and people moving to our city, keeping our infrastructure up to par will be necessary to protect your day-to-day. If elected my goal is to bring much of the city's infrastructure (roads and sidewalks) up to proper coding. Securing safer roads and sidewalks ensures that our community can remain walkable and usable. Everyone in our community deserves to get around safely and securely!
Small Business
My plan if elected is to ensure small business will take a major role in our city's economy. Securing quicker permit and clerical services allows small business owners to open their doors sooner and clears "red tape" that stands in the way of our community members flourishing. Creating a small business initiative to help small business owners get off the ground and set up for success will enrich our community's culture and light the way for a city that has options for everyone!
